2010 Update - House Bill 4466 Passed in House
Massachusetts House Bill 4466 has made it through the House and has now been sent to the Senate for consideration.
If the bill passes the Senate and is signed into law it would prohibit text messaging and using a cell phone while operating a motor vehicle.

Drivers over the age of 18 would have the option of using a "Hands Free Device" with voice activated options.
